Dubai Mall – Chimney Road

The Chimney Road project for the Dubai Mall, was yet another one of our contributions to the renovation work done at the prestigious world-class mall. 

Here we were required to retrofit all the existing 5ft 35W T5 fluorescent tubes to reduce operational costs and carbon footprint. Our product of choice for this project was our Taurus T07 25W LED tubes. Specified at 3000K CCT and IP65 rated, they matched the existing specifications without altering the lighting effect and also providing up to a 43% energy cost saving.

Over 550 units were replaced, in total, with Lylux being responsible for not only supply of the products, but also their installation.

After 5 years, it is estimated that a savings in operational and maintenance costs amount to nearly AED 350,000.
